FSME hails initiatives

Vijayawada: While lauding the GO with certain directions issued by Andhra Pradesh Government for procurement of materials from local MSMEs by the government departments, corporations and quasi-government bodies, Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises of India (FSME India) president APK Reddy sought awareness meetings by the Industries Department on the salient features of the order. He said a roadmap should be prepared to make the MSMEs, a major employment provider for the locals and a big contributor to the GDP, to get the required support from the government. Reddy said it was commendable that the Andhra Pradesh Government under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has given priority to the industrial sector.
